Cleaning the Poop on the Cement

The process of cleaning the poop of the Beaumont pigeon will differ depending on the type of surface. For the droppings that are stuck on the cement walls, start by using scraper that will extract the dried poop easily. Begin with the larger pieces first. The scraped materials should then be disposed appropriately. In a bucket of water, add detergent and bleach. Scrub the cement using a brush that will eliminate the remaining stain. This will be a laborious work and will not guarantee that the entire stain will be removed. For the persistent stain, you can use baking soda and leave it for at least 30 minutes. You can also use the baking soda for the remaining stain. 

Cleaning the Pigeon’s Dropping on the Metal

Since the metal is a sturdier surface, you will need a more powerful cleaning agent to remove the Beaumont pigeons dropping. You should start by saturating the dried feces by spraying water with detergent. This can also prevent the spores from being released on the air. You can use your rag to eradicate the softened dropping. Their feces are acidic so make sure to check for signs of corrosion that can adversely affect the quality of the metal.

Before starting with your Texas decontamination, be sure to open the windows to improve the circulation of air inside. Dispose the dropping inside the plastic bag and tie it before placing it again on another plastic bag. Avoid releasing the trapped air inside the plastic bag since this will release the fungal spores that can increase the possibility of disease transmission.
